…Ten years later,
Here I am writing
In the company of
A childhood entombed in my bitter throat,
I wince,
The window deforms in a rapid budge,
I neglect,
Pep pills at my right glitter,
Suddenly gulped down,
Revise and raze within,
Meet million sisters and mothers
From ten years ago.
…Ten years later,
Here I am recalling
The innocent pubertal
Juvenile smiles just before the deep thought,
I glimpse,
Dear old faces callously left me in the grunge,
I bend,
Content memories woefully ripple
On a visible sound,
Afflict my space out and in,
Own self doctor-INE lulls and smothers
From ten years ago.
